For 20 years I’ve been an inner-city educator and school reformer, with the
personal end goal of changing the trajectory of at-risk youth in our country.
My emphasis has always been on the emotional and behavior disordered
students – the same ones who are always overlooked and underserved.
I’ve had the honor to help divert the most susceptible children away from
the “public school-to-prison pipeline” and into successful placements in
both higher education and our society.
Passion and professionalism drives my life’s work – it always has. This,
partnered with my interpersonal traits, has afforded me the opportunities
to train staff and build leadership skills through workshops and lectures.
